News and Thanks[from newsletter 5]
Again it has been a half year since our last newsletter. The turning of the last two seasons has brought some new members into our community. Among them are Keegan Stoll-Young, born unto Mimi and Freeman. He's already blessed a few sweat lodges and even been to his first Sundance. Welcome to the community!
- Also just arrived (as I write this in late August) is Trevor Dines born to Paul and Holly Dines. At this moment he is getting used to his new "digs," but we hope to see him soon around the fire. Welcome Trevor!
- Joe Slattery is in good humor, but working hard with his health. Please send your prayers his way. Please also join our prayers for Jeanne de Josephs, Christine Sylvia and Neva Henshaw for their good health
- A prayer for Michael Burns' mother, Rusty, would be good, too
- Hector Gomez is waiting on a liver transplant, and could use our prayers and any other material support you can provide to him and his family
- We have been really developing a nice ceremonial grounds thanks to the hospitality of Jerry Perkins and Kristina Flanagan at their Satsong Center in Chileno Valley. We can't thank them enough for their support. Come on by and sweat with us there; the directions are in the ceremony schedule
- Marin County Elder May Angel (Navaho) is moving into an elder care facility. She is known in our area for sharing her teachings with countless elementary school kids.
- Elder Luna Herrington passed on to the spirit world this Summer. His prayerful support to all his relatives will be deeply remembered.
