Bring food to share at the potluck following every ceremony. Please bring your own plate and utensils--we wish to honor the Earth by ceasing to use paper products and "disposable" utensils. Some new jokes wouldn't hurt either--all of ours are getting old. Please arrive one hour before ceremony. For information, call Fred at (510)-290-5708. |

Directions: Take Hwy 101 North towards Santa Rosa.
Take the Hwy 116 WEST exit toward Sebastopol. (DO NOT TAKE 116 East, which comes up first)
Take a left off the ramp, going West.
Go 5 miles and then keep your eye out for a Valero Station on your right.
Pass that gas station and soon after you will take a left on Lone Pine Rd. There is a red Native American store on the corner, called "Native Riders."
Follow Lone Pine until it ends at Bloomfield Rd. Take a left on Bloomfeild.
Follow Bloomfeild until a stop sign, where you take a left to stay on Bloomfeild.
Then take an IMMEDIATE right onto Kennedy Rd.
Follow Kennedy Rd. to the second stop sign, where you will take a right to stay on Kennedy.
Follow Kennedy another 200 yards to end where you will take a left onto Barnett Valley Rd.
It will be hard to see the sign for Barnett Valley Rd. The sign in front of you will say "Sanders Rd." with an arrow to the right. But you will go left, which is Barnett Valley Rd.
Follow Barnett Valley Rd. for about 3 miles through the country and then at the top of a steep hill our driveway will be on the left.
10297 Barnett Valley Rd.
There will be a big white bus in the driveway. If you pass Burnside Rd., you've gone too far.

Directions: Pass northbound through the town of Laytonville (it doesn't take long)
You will pass the CDF fire station on your right
Take the next right after Huntsman Way the road is marked "307", and is about 1.5 miles north of Laytonville.
Take an immediate LEFT, then zero your odometer!
Go 0.6 miles to a RIGHT on WOODMAN CREEK ROAD, marked by a small white sign on a tree.
Immediately pass blue and white "Private Road" sign on your right.
At 2.0 miles (not resetting odometer), there is another split in the road, marked by boulders. Take a RIGHT, following the downhill road. About 500 feet on, the road splits again stay LEFT and downhill. Continue on the road most traveled. You will be led down into the canyon on a steep and windy stretch.
At about 4 miles, you will go through an open gate; about half a mile later, cross the bridge over the creek. At about 5.3 miles the road splits again, stay left and down.
Near 6.5 miles, there will be a sharp turn in the road uphill to the right, and you will have your first vista of the canyon. Just past this point is a SPLIT in the road with a tree in the middle and a low, brown-lettered metal sign that says BUCK ROCK.
Bear RIGHT, follow the driveway up the hill and take your first left into the main driveway of Buck Rock. |
